Goldman Sachs Testimony before the U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations (PSI)

Goldman Sachs has been requested to testify before the U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations (PSI) hearing on April 27, 2010. The PSI was created with the broad mandate to determine whether any changes are required in U.S. law to better protect the public. It is in this context that the PSI has been conducting an investigation into the financial services industry and the financial crisis for more than a year. Goldman Sachs was one of several financial services firms requested to testify before the PSI. Lloyd Blankfein, David Viniar, Craig Broderick, along with other current and former Goldman Sachs professionals testified.
